چکیده

Abstract Background The Double Kissing Crush (“DK Crush”) technique is one of the recommended planned 2-stent techniques to treat true coronary bifurcation lesions (Medina 1–1-1, Medina 0–1-1). While some trials demonstrated superiority other techniques, DK requires a sequence specific and potentially technically challenging steps. No data exists on procedural difficulty various steps required for Crush. We therefore analyzed times device usage in systematic fashion. Methods results 54 patients (42 male, mean age 67±12 years) intended treatment with were enrolled. Detailed characteristics including exact each step prospectively measured analyzed. was successful 48/54 (89%). Bifurcation coronary lesions and the "crush" technique.

aggregometry (LTA) is the most widely reported ex vivo technique to assess aspirin effect in platelets (1–3). With respect to our study potentially underestimating aspirin resistance in patients with unstable coronary syndromes, it should be noted that 23% (n 47) of our percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) patients were in that category. All of these patients were sensitive to aspirin (4). ...

Clinical Outcome of Double Kissing Crush Versus Provisional Stenting of Coronary Artery Bifurcation Lesions

BACKGROUND Provisional stenting is effective for anatomic simple bifurcation lesions. Double kissing crush stenting reduces the 1-year rate of target lesion revascularization. This study aimed to investigate the 5-year clinical results of the DKCRUSH-II study (Randomized Study on Double Kissing Crush Technique Versus Provisional Stenting Technique for Coronary Artery Bifurcation Lesions). MET...

Study comparing the double kissing (DK) crush with classical crush for the treatment of coronary bifurcation lesions: the DKCRUSH-1 Bifurcation Study with drug-eluting stents

BACKGROUND Classical crush has a lower rate of final kissing balloon inflation (FKBI) immediately after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The double kissing (DK) crush technique has the potential to increase the FKBI rate, and no prospective studies on the comparison of classical with DK crush techniques have been reported. MATERIALS AND METHODS Three hundred and eleven patients with ...
